New art journal pages

THis is the next stage continuing on from the last post. After painting and laying the border, I then did the 2 figures in the middle.

The girl on the left has a foil doily section for a hat and the top and face is a copy of an old photo. She is letting her inner girl OUT.

This girl is celebrating life holding real pressed flowers.

This was once the penwork was done.

And then the finished spreads with the lettered quotes.

This is so addictive! I have started another 2 pages and have ideas for 3 more. What is up with that? Love it.

Nice pages. Even though they are based on Teesha Moore's style I can see they are truly your own version. It will be fun to see how the next ones come out.

These are nice! I like how the one with the flowers looks so powerful and self confident. I also like the saying on the other.... to not settle for an ordinary life.

Gorgeous! I've started some Teesha-style pages but haven't been happy with them (or with my journal pages in general) because I'm still growing my supply stash. I'm having a hard time finding pens that will write nicely over paint. Your lettering is so bright and lovely! I too want to develop my own style. I guess sometimes that process begins in copying!

Hi, Cheryl. I just nominated you for an Over the Top Blog Award. See my blog for details.

Coming here reminds me once again that I need to get going on my Teesha Moore pages! I need some freeing art.

Cheryl;
These pages are wonderful. I still have to watch the lettering videos on Teesha's site. You have done a great job of this!
